I was born in the Bay Area, California August of 1993 into a large family with all very strong personalities. My family can be described as extremely loving but very misunderstood. My mother left the bay area and moved to central valley where I spent most of my younger years. As a child I had more personality than any of my siblings. Always smiling and dancing around. I was growing up gay in a household where that wasn’t celebrated. When my mother noticed I was a little more feminine than my brothers she felt it was best to send me back to my fathers to have more of a manly figure around the house. I was taught to never really show emotion, the ol’ “Men don’t cry” tactic. My father was tough and by being harder on me it taught me to cope and handle my issues internally. So a lot of my self expression was muted and I had to find different outlets to get it out. When I was sixteen I bought my first camera and found out instantly that this was a way to get all of what I was holding onto inside out for people to see. I started off shooting family members and close friends and by doing that later noticed that what I loved more than anything was to see people light up in front of the lens. I love to create beauty and I’m passionate about telling other people’s stories through my photography. I pull a lot of my inspiration from outdoor beauties and the people I surround myself on the daily. I want to create art that’s unapologetic and have people feel something by just staring at my photos.

Much love to you all. xoxo
